K9 RESET™ is the first stage of the K9 Keep gut-health system. It is designed as a foundation probiotic for dogs during periods of digestive stress, including during doxycycline therapy, before transitioning to a broader animal-derived/lactic-acid bacteria probiotic program.

RESET combines Saccharomyces boulardii with resilient spore-forming probiotics, including Bacillus coagulans and Bacillus subtilis. These organisms are selected for their ability to provide digestive and microbial support during challenging periods when many traditional bacterial probiotic strains may be more susceptible to antibiotic exposure.

RESET also provides FOS prebiotic fiber and L-glutamine to support the intestinal environment and nutritional needs of the gut.

Why RESET first?

Antibiotic therapy can disrupt the normal intestinal microbiome along with its intended effects. RESET is designed to provide a strong first-stage foundation during this period.

After antibiotic therapy is completed, the K9 Keep system transitions from RESET to REBUILD, introducing a broader range of traditional beneficial bacterial strains to help restore microbial diversity.
